Zhiyun announced the Molus G300 compact LED light ( click here to buy). The Molus G300 offers up to 300 Watts of power output during normal use. It also comes with a Max Mode that temporarily boosts it to 500W.
This bi-colour LED has a maximum brightness of 20,300 lux and a CRI range from 2700K to 6500K. It has a CRI of 95+, and a TLCI rating of 97+.

It has been fascinating to watch Zhiyun’s vision of how LED lights should be made. Every other manufacturer makes COB LEDs that look the same. They are similar, at least in terms of their appearance.
Zhiyun, on the other hand has a totally new design approach. It seems to be working. It’s still a small range, but the growth has been steady since when the Molus G60 & X100 were launched in March.

They’re not quite as powerful as the LED lights from Godox or Aputure. But they don’t cost as much. They’re powerful enough to meet the needs of most users for their intended market.
